Brooke Tessmacher comes out to the ring looking really angry, and she says everyone in wrestling is talking about how she pinned Gail Kim last week. Everyone says it was a fluke, but she’s here to prove it wasn’t a fluke and that she’s a legitimate threat to her title and she’s not just a pair of ASSets. It might not be a title match, but she’s calling Gail out and wants her in the ring right now.

Knockouts Champion Gail Kim vs Brooke Tessmacher

Gail suckerpunches Brooke before the bell and rams her from corner to corner. Gail with a flying clothesline and goes for a cover, but pulls Brooke up at 2. She whips Brooke into the corner, stops to blow a kiss to the audience, and hits a running clothesline in the corner. Brooke dodges a second one and gets a few shots in, but Gail catches her with another clothesline that sends Brooke for a flip. Gail gets Brooke in a firewoman’s carry and just dumps her, but Brooke comes back with a series of clotheslines and a dropkick. Gail takes Brooke back down and holds the title belt right in Brooke’s face, telling her that she’s not in her league and will never have the title, then says something that gets bleeped out and hits a charging shoulderblock in the corner. Gail comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick, but Brooke dodges and then gives Gail an atomic flapjack for 3.

We’re out to the ring where Samoa Joe & Brutus Magnus, Gail Kim, Devon…okay, Spike’s feed gets all messed up again, the screen goesblank, and we hear a test pattern beep until we go to commercial again.

Okay, we’re back at Impact and all the champions are in the ring, but Hulk Hogan sees Rob Van Dam on his way to the ring and says that he wants to make tonight’s Hardy-Anderson match a three way and suggests that maybe he ought to get someone who was a champion and never lost his title. RVD says he knows somebody, and Hogan says he does too, and it’s R…V…D. He says Van Dam is in the main event, then heads out to the ring to address the champions.

Hogan announces Open Fight Night, which will consist of a few things: first, a wrestler from outside TNA will have the chance to come in and wrestle, and if Hogan and his panel of three judges all like the wrestler, they’ll be signed to a TNA contract. Also, any wrestler can challenge any other wrestler and the person being challenged has to show up, including the champions. Bobby Roode is pissed off and asks Hogan if he knows who he is, and then Gail Kim asks Hogan who gets to decide which champions are wrestling, and Hogan says he would. Finally, he wants to inform Devon that his TV Title will now be defended every week on Impact Wrestling. Hey, that sounds good! And since Gail is already in the ring…

Knockouts Champion Gail Kim ,Madison Rayne, Sarita & Rosita vs Tara, Brooke Tessmacher, Mickie James & Velvet Sky

Velvet and Sarita start us off with a bunch of fast paced twirly stuff, but Rosita comes in and finds herself on the receiving end of several knees and a bulldog from Velvet. Gail tags in and starts kicking the crap out of Velvet and flattens her with a running clothesline for 2. Velvet goes for her Pedigree, but Gail slips out and tags to Madison, who quickly find herself on the receiving end of a beating at the hands of Mickie James. Mickie suckerpunches Rosita and goes up top, but Sarita shoves her off and she bounces off the ropes before Madison covers for 2. Rosita in with a series of boots and a flying headscissors off of Mickie’s knees for 2. Mickie ducks a clothesline and counters to a neckbreaker and makes the hot tag to Tara, who comes in and cleans house on Sarita. Tara with a BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK BODYDROP on Sarita, followed by a slam, and then the ass shaking standing moonsault for 2. Brroke comes in and TNT work Sarita over and mock her with their own hip swivel, then Brooke takes Gail out with a series of clotheslines and a faceplant. She goes for a cover, but now all the Knockouts wind up in the ring and then fight out to the fllor while Gail and Brooke are left alone in the ring. Brooke goes for a monkey flip and Gail blocks and goes for a cover with her feet on the ropes, but Velvet comes over and shoves Gail’s feet off the ropes to break up the fall. Gail goes after Velvet, and Brooke rolls Gail up from behind for the win.

Winners: Tara, Brooke Tessmacher, Velvet Sky & Mickie James

Velvet is gleefully rubbing it in Gail’s face from the ramp and tells her it’s not over.

Kim nailed Velvet from behind as Sky was arguing with Madison Rayne, who was outside. Sky shocked her with an inside cradle for a near fall. Kim reversed a whip but Sky sunset flipped her. Kim drilled her with a kick while she was underneath Sky.

Kim nailed an elbow and a series of forearms. Kim targeted Sky with a series of kicks to the legs and mid-section. Kim ran Sky towards the turnbuckles but Sky blocked it and nailed a series of strikes. Kim shoved her off and tried to scale the cage for an escape. Sky went after her but was kicked off. Kim nailed a beautiful missile dropkick off the top rope for a two count.

Kim used her knee to bend Sky’s back, attempting a submission. Kim went for a version of the Stretch Muffler but Sky kicked her off. Kim almost immediately cut her back off and covered Sky for a two count. Kim locked on a Dragon Sleeper, then worked Sky over in the corner. Kim missed a charge in the corner and went through the turnbuckles, landing on the outside of the apron near the cage. It looked brutal.

Sky nailed a series of punches and a clothesline, then a running back elbow. Sky used a twisting headscissors and a basement dropkick. Sky nailed a bulldog and went for a move but Kim kicked her off. Kim ascended to the top but Sky stopped her and met her at the top rope. Sky nailed a sunset flip powerbomb off the top rope into the ring. It took time for Sky to recover and attempt a pinfall. When she did, Kim grabbed the ropes to break it.

Madison Rayne tried to distract Sky so Kim could escape through the open door. Sky went after Kim and rolled her up. The momentum allowed Kim to roll through and she hooked the tights for the pin.

In somewhat of a preview of the Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky match at Lockdown for the KO Title, the team of Mickie James and Velvet defeated Gail and Madison Rayne in tag-team action. The finish came when Sky blocked Kim’s Eat Defeat finisher, then nailed her own for the three count.

Details are scarce, but Gail Kim defeated Sara Del Rey and Winter in triple threat women’s action on the special wrestling event card. Congratulations!

Match #5 – TNA Knockouts Title Match: Gail Kim (Champion) vs. Madison Rayne

Our next title match begins with both women hugging in the middle of the ring, Gail then motions like she is going to his Rayne with the title belt. The ladies then lock up and they both pull each other’s hair, Gail lands the first blows by hitting Rayne with fore arm shots and flying clothes lines. Rayne gets the edge on Gail and then she misses a charge into the corner, Rayne then sends Gail from the ring apron into the steel railing after a running shoulder tackle. Rayne then goes for the face smash on Gail and she nearly gets rolled up, Rayne keeps the advantage by choking Gail in the corner. Gail then catches a charging Rayne with a boot to the face, Rayne quickly slows Gail down with a strike before catching her with a Northern lights suplex. Rayne then locks a dazed Gail in a chin lock, Gail breaks free and catches the leg of Rayne to smash it across her shoulder. The ladies both stumble to their feet and exchange blows, Gail gets the advantage by catching Rayne with a springboard cross body. Gail then tosses Rayne into the corner to hit her with a running cross body, Gail then nails Rayne with a missile dropkick. Gail then goes for Eat Defeat and Rayne counters with a roll up, Rayne then catches Gail with a neck breaker. Rayne starts arguing with the referee and Gail tries to get the edge, Rayne stops her momentum before shoving Gail to the mat. Rayne then starts taunting Gail before hitting her with a running drop kick, Rayne then goes for her finisher and Gail reverses for hers and they both fail to connect. Gail then goes for Eat Defeat again and she catches Rayne with it to score the three count.

Winner: Still TNA Knockouts Champion, Gail Kim

Gail Kim vs Mickie James

Gail takes Mickie right down with a side headlock and goes to a rolling cradle, Mickie bridges out and tries a backslide, but Gail blocks so Mickie gets a snapmare and baseball slide for 2 instead. Gail comes back with some hard kicks and forearms, but Mickie dodges a corner charge and Gail tumbles out to the floor. She grabs her title belt and tries to hit Mickie with it, but Mickie knocks it out of her hands and slingshots Gail into the ring and tries her headscissors out of the corner, but Gail catches the leg and drops right down into an innovative kneebreaker and then starts dropping elbows onto the knee. Gail continues working on the knee and locks in a Stretch Muffler as Mickie struggles to get to the ropes. Mickie counters to a rollup for 2 and then a neckbreaker, and both girls are down. Mickie comes off the second rope with the flying crotch to the face for 2, then baseball slides Gail out to the floor…right next to her title belt. Gail picks it up and awaits Mickie, bashes her right in the head when she comes over and knocks her out, then covers Mickie for 3.

Winner: Gail Kim

Gail Kim/Madison Rayne (c) vs. Eric Young/ODB – Knockouts Tag-Team Titles

In a shocking turn of events, the unlikely duo of Eric Young and ODB successfully dethroned reigning champiosn Gail Kim and Madison Rayne to win the KO tag-team titles. In a bid to save her partner, Madison hit Eric from behind with the title belt, but he fell on top of Gail for the pin and three count as she struggled to break free.

Reigning Knockouts Champion Gail Kim is set to defend her title against her tag-team champion partner and friend Madison Rayne at Victory Road on March 18.

Madison Rayne is backstage saying that she hopes Sting is done because he hasn’t been fair to her or to Gail Kim. Oh, and speaking of Gail, just because she’s the number one contender to Gail’s title won’t hurt their friendship. She saw the low caliber of competition in the Knockouts division and stepped up because only she could provide the competition Gail needs.

Knockouts Champion Gail Kim vs ODB

This is non-title, which is good for Gail since ODB has the overwhelming might of Eric Young in her corner. Eric gets on the apron and tells Gail to tag him in, but she opts instead to go face to face with ODB and gets knocked on her ass. ODB gets Gail in a front facelock and slaps her on the ass, then whips Gail to the corner and follows in with a charging bodyblock. Gail drops to her butt, so ODB gets a Bronco Buster and a foldover press for 2. Gail comes off the ropes with a crossbody, but ODB catches her and hits a fallaway slam before doing a kip up and going BAM with her boobs. ODB goes after Gail, who desperately clings to the bottom rope, but Gail gets in a quick kick to the jaw as soon as ODB gets an opening. Gail off the ropes with a running clothesline for 2, ODB tries to fight back but Gail kicks her in the ribs and dumps her out to the ring apron. Gail drags ODB in over the second rope like a Randy Orton DDT, but just dumps her on her face before whipping her into the corner and hitting a running shoulderblock to the ribs for 2. Gail with a Royal Octopus, but ODB just drops her with a side suplex, and I wonder why nobody ever thought to do that before. Gail rips ODB’s head off with a clothesline, then fires off a barrage of kicks in the corner and chokes her with her boot. Gail gets distracted as Madison comes trotting down the ramp, and EY takes the opportunity to give ODB a nip from her flask, and this revitalizes ODB, who comes back on Gail with a series of bodyblocks and then sits on the top rope and repeatedly rams Gail’s face into her crotch. ODB comes off the second rope with a Thesz Press for 2, but Gail blocks the GAM and hits Eat Da Feet for 3.

Winner: Gail Kim

Madison gets in to celebrate with Kim, who doesn’t seem to know what to make of Madison’s enthusiasm.
