With the JOKE that is WWE & the Knockouts division in TNA in disarray, I'd rather see Gail in the indies...actually, my #1 choice is Japan

The outcome is hard to call. Any word on when Melina will be back as that will have a bearing on things...

I think that Ms. Kim is doing quite well on her own ... Gail Kim is Gail Kim. She has a hell of a lot of charisma. She is one of the top professional wrestlers anywhere. WWE failed to appreciate her years ago, and they are still of that mind set. All she needs is more opportunities to wrestle the way she really can wrestle, but being the pro that she is she makes the very best of what she is given. Hopefully WWE will let her shine before this current contract ends, but that is yet to be seen, and yet to be realized.

and a very good thought Shawn, but with the change due to illness they went with the emphasis on Alicia, and we saw how that played out. I also think that with Alicia storming out as his psychic prediction failed you will see Alicia involve herself in the Maryse/Gail final match and possibly cost Gail the championship which will set up all three of these women battling each other for sometime to come. Just my thought as well.

A poor excuse to get the guest host more involved in the show. Before the match, we barely hear Gail's theme music which is drowned out by Cole & King talking to the guest host Dule Hill. Gail is already in the ring, typical sign of a jobber.

Yes, but I still think Vinny boy has a thing for blondes. Michelle Mccool has been champ for 200+ days & wrestled on tv less than Layla. Maryse & Beth also had long reigns as champs.

I'm glad Gail won but unhappy with how they are treating Gail. Don't get me wrong. I think its great she advanced but come on. They are not hyping her up to be a challenger/competent wrestler!!!!

Also props to Alicia Fox on totally no-selling EAT DEFEAT post match (Note: sarcasm). She got up quickly & just went after the guest host. She didn't even try to seem dazed, which just makes Gail's finisher look not strong. Even the staff at Diva Dirt who love Alicia were all over her for that in their blog and rightfully so.

Sorry for the negativity but I'm expressing my honest opinion here.

Unfortunately I believe Maryse will win. Why?

Also just look at how pissed off Gail look at the end of her semi-final victory!!!! She was glaring at Alicia & that dumb host cuz she knew she was getting shafted.

As much as I want Gail to be the next Divas champ, we all know Maryse is going to win this.

it's pretty common for wwe to put on the exact same diva matches for a week or two during their houseshow runs. i'm not sure if the men have to deal with the same repetition though?

whoever i hear next saying maryse is only rubbish due to ring rust, needs to realise she's been prominent on the house show circuit since her comeback. it's the same with the bella twins, they're more often than not doing houseshows, so they really can't fall back on the lack of experience excuse.

When Melina became injured, the WWE came up with a rarely used concept when it comes to the Divas.

The came up with a tournament to crown a new Divas Champion. With this creation came the opportunity to have legit matches with serious value behind them.

Unfortunately, what has been produced is the same old, same old.

The Divas tag match on this past Monday Night RAW should have been a serious nail in the coffin for the WWE's current thoughts when it comes to the RAW Divas. The crowd was completely and utterly dead, and rightfully so when it came to this extremely botched and uncoordinated match. There has been no extra backstage segments or mic time from anyone concerning the Divas Championship.

It seems most likely that Maryse will be champion. And then what? None of the other face divas have been built to even get a reaction like Maryse does, and she's a heel.

Gail Kim, the only good wrestler out of that show, gets absolutely no reaction from the crowd. The WWE has let the RAW divas fall completely to the bottom of the barrel, and it's a real shame considering what's happening on Smackdown.

Imagine this "Piggy James" storyline happening on RAW. Mickie is the WWE's most popular Diva, and to have the caliber of solid heels against her in Michelle McCool, Layla, and Beth Phoenix against her on RAW would be fantastic.

The interesting aspect of the storyline is that the Women's title is rarely mentioned, but it works.

At this point RAW is giving off a vibe of Diva story lines having any weight to them being put on hold until Melina comes back, as she is the No. 2 Diva in the WWE in terms of popularity. She is one of, if not the, best Diva on the roster period.

It's a real shame because there is no Mickie James on RAW to take back the mantle of top RAW Diva like the last time Melina was injured and was making a face turn.

The WWE has a real opportunity to build one of its face Divas as a star both in popularity and in wrestling, and they're flushing it down the toilet.

i agree. and to be fair, now that melina is out of action, they only really have either kelly or gail to take on that top face part.

perhaps i'm used to being disappointed (which is good, it means i keep my hopes low) but with gail's match shown on superstars, and not on raw, for now it seems they may be going the route of kelly kelly.

Good to see Gail is winning the matches.
