10/11/12 Impact Wrestling Result

Knockouts Champion Brooke Tessmacher vs Gail Kim

Kim absolutely kicks the crap out of Brooke before she has a chance to react, tearing her apart in the corner with kicks and punches, but Tessmacher gets a flying headscissors and goes for the stinkface, but Gail slips out to the floor. Brooke with a baseball slide that sends Gail to the outside, but Gail drops Brooke’s throat across the middle rope and connects with a basement dropkick for 2. Gail chokes Brooke on the second rope with her knee and runs through Brooke with a clothesline for 2. Gail with a side backbreaker and hits a running crossbody in the corner, Brooke tries fighting back but Gail unloads with another hard kick. Gail tries a Shining Wizard, but Brooke catches her legs and catapults her into the corner. Now Brooke starts making a comeback, nailing several right hands and a side bulldog looking thing. Brooke with a crucifix for 2, but Gail counters a Frankensteiner attempt to a really ugly looking powerbomb, but comes off the top rope and hits nothing. Brooke with an atomic pancake and that’s all she wrote.

Winner: Brooke Tessmacher

Tara runs in to attack Brooke, but Brooke turns the table and gives her the atomic pancake, standing tall over the broken forms of both her adversaries.

10/4/12 Impact Wrestling Result

Tara is backstage on the phone with Boo 2 and says she’s not sure why Stacy and George canceled on them, but Gail comes in to tell her to get off the phone and concentrate on the match. Gail says that if Tara wins the title, she’d better watch her back because she’ll be coming for it. Gail walks off as Tara wonders what Torrie and A-Rod are doing.

Tara & Gail Kim vs Brooke Tessmacher & ODB

Taryn Terrell is our referee again this week as Gail tries to tackle ODBand bounces right offher boobage. ODB splashesGail inthe cornerandgoes for a firewoman’s carry, Gailslips out but gets flattenedby a clothesline. ODB with a big slam and then tags out to Brooke, who dropkicks Gail into the corner and gives her a stinkface. Gail dodges a charge from ODB and tags out to Tara, but ODB knocks her on her butt into the corner and hits the Bronco Buster. ODB holds the ropes to avoid a dropkick and suckerpunches Gail while she’s at it, but Tara uses the opening to yank ODB down by the hair and drill her with several right hands to the face. Gail comes in and chokes ODB in the corner with her boot, then hits her running crossbody in the corner. Gail punts ODB in the ribs and hits a clothesline for 2, but Tara tags herself in and puts the boots to ODB. Tara shakes her ass and moonsaults…right onto ODB’s knees. ODB makes the hot tag to Brooke, who comes in and tears into Tara with several clotheslines and a flying headscissors. Brooke with a front bulldog out of the corner, but Gail breaks up the pinfall attempt. Gail argues with Terrell, but ODB spears her out to the apron. ODB stops for a nip of her flask, but Gail Tullys her out to the floor. Tara runs up behind Gail and shoves her into Brooke, then hits the Widow’s Peak on Brooke for 3.

Winners: Tara & Gail Kil

Tara points into the camera and says “I did it for you, baby!” I assume she means Boo 2. Gail looks pissed off at ringside.

Breaking: Gail Kim Blocks KO Title Match

Breaking News – Gail Kim Blocks Knockout Title Match For Tonight

During last week’s Impact Live, Executive in Charge of the Knockouts Brooke Hogan informed Gail Kim that her rematch for the Knockout Championship against Miss Tessmacher would be on the 7/5 edition of Impact Live! Gail Kim lodged a protest through her lawyer and upon further review of the contract, a clause was found preventing the title match from happening tonight! Gail’s lawyer had a clause hidden in the contract that required the former champion 8 days notice of her rematch. A compromise has been made and the new date of the championship match is the 7/12 edition of IMPACT LIVE on Spike TV

This power struggle was the latest run in between these two strong-headed women. After losing the championship at Slammiversary, Gail Kim was given a vacation by Brooke Hogan after a backstage confrontation. Kim believes she’s is the most important woman in Impact Wrestling and has butted heads with Brooke at every turn. These legal maneuverings are not preventing Kim from wrestling on tonight’s IMPACT LIVE. Brooke Hogan has announced a replacement match for tonight – Gail Kim will team with Madison Rayne to face the Knockout Champion Miss Tessmacher and Tara!

Knockouts Title Re-Match Set for Impact!

Gail Kim will get her chance at revenge this week on Impact Wrestling, as she challenges reigning Knockouts Champion Miss Tessmacher, in a one-on-one rematch with the title up for grabs! The match was officially confirmed by Brooke Hogan on Impact last week. Will Gail return to the top of the mountain, or will lightning strike twice for the new champion?! Stay tuned.

5/24 Impact Wrestling Result

Gail Kim and Madison Rayne came to the ring. Kim took the mic and said that being her is great. She said she was the most dominant Knockouts champion in the history of the company. Kim said she built the division and is the division. She said that the entire division revolves around her and she’s the most important woman in the history of the company. They showed a shot of the locker room watching on a monitor with some of the women disgusted. Kim said that she has a problem that the Knockouts Tag Team titles are being defended by a man and called out the champions. As all this was going on, Rayne was distracted and fixing her makeup, all concerned by whoever she’s lusting over. Solid promo from Kim.

TNA Knockouts champion Gail Kim & Madison Rayne vs. TNA Knockouts Tag Team champions ODB & Eric Young

The champions head from backstage to the ring. Young and Kim started out going back and forth. The announcers were pushing the new time slot and the fact Impact would be live next week. Young grabbed Kim in a waistlock, then dropped Kim to the mat. He tagged in ODB who nailed a series of forearm shots and a Fall Away Slam as we go to a commercial.

When we returned from commercial, they pushed a Memorial Day Sale with up to 25% off, noting the TNA roster members who served in the military.

Back in the ring, the challengers worked over ODB with double team maneuvers until ODB speared Kim, Young makes the hot tag but is conflicted about wrestling with her. Rayne slapped him so he stripped down. He nailed several hiptosses and slams on the challengers. ODB yelled at him to put his pants back down, asking if he was trying to knock the girls up.

ODB tagged in and nailed an Oklahoma Slam for a near fall. She went for a Fireman’s Carry but Kim naoled her with an elbow. Kim went for a bodypress. ODB caught her and went for a Fall Away Slam but Rayne, outside the ring, tripped her and held her leg as Kim scored the pin.

Your winners, Gail Kim & Madison Rayne!

Apparently this was a non-title match as they didn’t announce new champions. Rayne and Kim ran off as the champions gave chase.

Gail Makes History

As of today, Gail Kim has made history in TNA as the longest reigning Knockouts Champion in company history, breaking the 190 days mark which surpasses the longest previous reign of Madison Rayne (188 days).

Although Awesome Kong holds the record for longest combined reigns (347 days), and Madison Rayne is in second place (299 days), Gail has now moved into third overall (275 days and counting).

5/17 Impact Wrestling Result

Backstage, TNA champion Gail Kim was complaining about having to defend the title against Velvet Sky and Brooke Tessmacher at the same time to Madison Rayne. Rayne wasn’t really paying attention but tried to pretend she was. Kim asked her if it was because of “that guy” and Rayne acted like she didn’t know what Kim was talking about. Kim was annoyed and said she was going to talk to Hulk Hogan. She ran into Sky and Tessmacher who reminded her she cheated to beat each of them and tonight that couldn’t happen.

TNA Knockouts champion Gail Kim vs. Velvet Sky vs. Brooke Tessmacher

Kim tried to get out of the ring but the challengers trapped her and nailed her back and forth. Brooke nailed her with a flying forearm. Kim bounced outside to the floor.

Sky and Tessmacher went back and forth, catching each other with near falls. Sky went to rebound off the ropes but Kim tripped her and pulled her ouf of the ring. She went after Tessmacher and began choking Brooke against the ropes.

Tessmacher was thrown out of the ring to the floor. When she returned, Kim nailed a sideslam, then used her foot to choke Tessmacher. She locked in a Boston Crab. Sky snuck up on her and locked a Dragon Sleeper on Kim. Tatsumi Fujinami would be proud.

Sky whipped Kim into the corner but missed a charging splash. Kim locked an Octopus on Brooke. Sky rolled up Kim for a near fall. That was a cool spot.

Sky and Tessmacher tried to go for a move but each blocked the other. Kim came off the top with a top rope missile dropkick on both. With all three down, the referee began counting them down.

Sky nailed Tessmacher with a Pedigree but was thrown out of the ring by Kim. Kim covered Brooke for the pin.

5/13 TNA Sacrifice PPV Result

TNA Knockouts champion Gail Kim vs. Brooke Tessmacher.

Tessmacher came out in an awesome red white and blue outfit. That led to Taz making an Avengers reference.

Kim nailed Brooke before the bell, ran her into the buckles and kicked the hell out of her. She drilled Brooke with a series of forearms and sent her into the ring. Tessmacher reversed a hiptoss and nailed a head scissors. She went for Kim’s Eat Defeat move and Kim rolled out of the ring.

Back in the ring, Brooke ducked a move and nailed a clothesline. She hit a leaping clothesline out of the corner. Brooke went for a spear on the apron but Kim leapt up and came down across Brooke’s back.

Brooke was nailed with a uppercut and clothesline for a two count. Kim sent her into the corner and splashed her horizontally in the corner. Kim stood over Brooke’s throat. The crowd tried to rally Brooke, who was caught with an over the knee backbreaker. She forced Brooke into a backwards position, atttempting a submission.

Kim drilled her with a clothesline, then mocked her by rubbing her rear in Brooke’s face. Tessmacher came back with a leaping forearm but was too hurt to mount a comeback. The referee began counting them down but they returned to their feet. Kim charged Brooke but was nailed with a kick. Brooke whipped Kim into the corner and grabbed her with an X-Factor.

Tessmacher went to the top and drilled her with a flying elbow for a two count. They went back and forth. Kim went for her finisher but Brooke slipped out and nailed it on Kim. Kim ended up bounced out to the floor from the force. Brooke tossed her back in but was only able to score a two count. The crowd was chanting hard for Brooke.

Brooke went for Kim but was grabbed in a double leg takedown. Kim put her feet on the ropes and scored the pin.

Your winner and still Knockouts champion, Gail Kim!

Decent match. They were over-achieving given Tessmacher’s level of experience. There were a few moments where they were off by a second or two with timing but this wasn’t bad at all. Tessmacher has something really unique about her and is trying really hard.
